Fumay

What's in a name?

OK I'll communicate in english for this time so it'll be good for everyone.

The blog is nearly finished (it took time because it is builded parallel to our complete new site and this is a big thing) so we will soon be able to share our images and material around the project.

We are planning a new visit on the site this saturday (4/3) if it agrees some of you. We could start from brussels at 13H00 and be back around 18H00. What could also be possible would be to get there at the end of the night (between saturday and sunday, around 7H00, as the sun rises around 8H00) to get there in a particularly poetic mood and take images on the day dawning on the forest and the river.

Tell me what you think about this idea!

I though it was also a good idea to find a name for the project. My idea is (as you can see in this mail object) “Fumay : altered shores”. “Altered” could seem to express something negative but in english it simply means “changed”. In french it means something like “damaged”. I find these two meanings interesting because it expresses well the mood in which our project takes place: a depressed but poetic place witch is about to change in a natural move to search a new hope.

Tell me what you think about all this.

See you, I hope this week-end.
