Boekenfilm die zich in de ruimte La Muette ontvouwt, vouwt en deplimeert heeft als doel de stad La Muette in Drancy in de noordelijke buitenwijken van Parijs, die in 1941 een interneringskamp werd, en vervolgens in 1942 het hergroeperingskamp van de Joden van Frankrijk met het oog op hun deportatie naar de vernietigingskampen. Deze ruimte, die tegelijkertijd een monument is dat herinneringen opslaat, een gedeeltelijk overblijfsel van een modernistisch architecturaal project en een achtergestelde woonruimte in de noordelijke buitenwijken van Parijs, wordt bewerkt door de onmogelijke verbinding tussen deze verschillende momenten van de plaats.
Kunstenaar en filmmaker Claire Angelini bevraagt in haar werk regelmatig de herinnering aan plaatsen die op een bepaald moment in hun geschiedenis door de oorlogsfabriek zijn geïnvesteerd. Zijn blik en zijn praktijk doen het spoor, de ruïne of het vergeten beeld herleven. In het hart van haar cinematografische of plastische werk geeft ze de architectuur een bevoorrechte plaats als levende getuige die een gefragmenteerde en bedreigde mensheid aan het licht brengt.

Book-film that unfolds in the space La Muette, folds and deplis has as its object the city of La Muette in Drancy in the northern suburbs of Paris, which became an internment camp in 1941, then in 1942 the regrouping camp of the Jews of France with a view to their deportation to the extermination camps. Taking note of this space, which is at the same time a monument that holds memories, a partial vestige of a modernist architectural project, and a disadvantaged residential space in the northern suburbs of Paris, it is worked on by the impossible connection between these different moments of the place.
Artist and filmmaker, Claire Angelini regularly questions in her work the memory of places that have been, at a given moment in their history, invested by the war factory. His gaze and his practice revive the trace, the ruin or the forgotten image. At the heart of her cinematographic or plastic work, she gives architecture a privileged place as a living witness that brings to light a fragmented and endangered humanity.
