Open pasta day

Everyday, someone from the team cooks lunch for everybody else.

We're lucky to have good shops around. There's a Turkish cornershop that has beautiful, fresh vegetables, mint and coriander; an Italian supermaket that carries all the sublte varieties of cheese and prosciutti, a halal- certified butcher, and even an amazing fishmonger for the special occasions. So every day, someone improvises a recipe for those there. Everybody participates, depending on ability and availability. Lunch becomes a meeting point, in which we share our thoughts and activities.

Mostly, we eat pasta. Sometimes it's rice, or soup, or couscous; but really, 9o% of the time we eat pasta. We have (invent!) many recipes, and there are quite a few talents in the house!

We thought of opening the office once a month after realising that the practice of architecture is often confined to the privacy of the office. Everybody can see the finished projects, but what about the process to get there? What happens before a building is finished? And what about the projects that for some reason will never be built?

The Open Pasta Dag allows us to make a pause, to meet friends and colleagues, clients, artists, curious people we haven't yet met; it's a moment to start discussing these subjects while sharing a good meal.

You too are invited every first Thursday of the month, at 1pm, to have lunch with us. Since our kitchen is not very big, we prefer that you tell us in advance. Bring someone along!
